Afterwards, it was shown commercially for two consecutive seasons in 2006; the season of Eid al-Fitr and season of Eid al-Adha on the stage of Hrikan Movie Theater. In addition, it was later shown for the third season 2007 in Sana’a. The total number of shows is 32 in different theaters. After it was recorded it was broadcasted on all of the Yemeni governmental and private TV channels. Family.com tells the story of a conservative father from the library generation who thinks that the computer and the Internet are dangerous tools, which may ruine the morals of his children. He decides to remove the computer from his children’s room to the living room to be used under his direct supervision. The children consider this action as an insult and lack of confidence, which makes them decide to start an open protest the living room to express their demonstration. Incidents escalate when all of the mother, the uncle and his wife join the father who together make up parents-generation team who consider that the computer is only a damage to the new generation and the reason that farther away the young generation from the library which creates a shallow generation which realizes nothing on contrast to the previous generation. On the other hand, the children form their own generation team who considers the computer as the normal evolution for the library and the real ignorant is the generation that does not know how to use the computer and are reluctant the value of this great invention and limits its value as a tool (video) that may corrupt the younger generation. Events escalate to reach a large challenge between the two generations, each wants to prove his point of view that leads to a huge competition the prize is running the house for the generation that will win the competition.
