In this theater production, a story of five brothers who share the same profession as teachers is portrayed where their mother passes away as a result of advanced age pregnancy. The brothers are left with the responsibility of raising their toddler sister Hala. the brothers pledge to one another to never get married or leave the family home until Hala is a graduate and ready to be wed. Eventually, Hala rebels against the family traditions and choose her own path. Throughout the play, situations arise and three grooms propose to Hala in the same day; two of them came from her brothers’ side. All of them are very distinguished academics who will honor her family by their well-known traditional families in the field of education. The third groom is simple young man who is a graduate of a technical institute; not a higher education. The play discusses many issues related to education in Yemen, as well as the way society deals inferiority with graduates of technical institutes as being less level than graduates of higher education.
