Khaleej Aden troupe to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the play "Ma'ak Nazel".

Khaleej Aden theater troupe and the German House in Yemen are to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its celebrated theater production play ‘Maak Nazel’. The piece was first performed live on the 19th of October 2009 at the Cultural Center in Sana'a and was performed in November of the same year at  Hurricane Cinema in Aden.

A weeklong celebration of the tenth anniversary of the play "Maak Nazel" will be held in several locations in the city of Aden and will include several and various activities celebrating the theater production. The activities include screenings of a short doc film on the play, an exhibition of photographs and costumes, seminars, and a music event introducing remixed versions of the original songs performed in 2009. In addition, a filmed version of the play will be screened in cinemas for public.  

Maak Nazel was also performed live in Berlin in June 2010,  becoming the first Yemeni play to be performed in Europe.
